This role is ideal for fresh graduates who have a strong interest in politics, current affairs, public policy, media, and digital journalism. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, confidence in front of the camera, and an eagerness to learn the fast-paced world of news reporting and anchoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and present news stories with accuracy and clarity.
- Monitor daily political, social, and national developments.
- Assist in covering political events, press conferences, campaigns, and public programs.
- Conduct interviews and gather information from relevant sources.
- Anchor recorded or live news segments under editorial guidance.
- Create engaging news-related content for social media platforms.
- Track social media trends, viral topics, and public conversations.
- Coordinate with the editorial and content teams for story development.
- Ensure factual reporting while maintaining journalistic ethics and standards.
- Stay updated with current affairs, government policies, elections, and political developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, English, or a related field.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in politics, governance, elections, and current affairs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and/or English.
- Confident personality with good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Basic understanding of news reporting, media ethics, and digital journalism.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trending topics, and audience engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in college media, debating, public speaking, content creation, or internships in journalism.
- Knowledge of political communication and public affairs.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and conducting interviews.
- Basic video editing or social media management skills will be an advantage.
- Strong research, storytelling, and analytical abilities.
