We are a dynamic and growing architecture and interior design practice with a strong portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Our team currently comprises Senior Architects, Junior Architects, and an Interior Designer, bringing a combined experience of over 50 years. As we expand our residential design vertical, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Architect to complement and strengthen our existing team.
Role Summary
The Architect — Residential Architecture & Interior Design will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality residential design projects from concept through to completion. The candidate will work closely with Senior Architects, clients, and consultants to produce design solutions that are functional, aesthetic, and compliant with applicable codes and regulations. The role also requires a strong understanding of residential interior design principles to ensure seamless integration between architecture and interiors.
Scope of Work
1. Residential Architecture
- Prepare and develop conceptual design schemes for residential projects including bungalows, villas, row houses, and apartment projects.
- Develop design development drawings, working drawings, and construction documents to the required level of detail.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure integrated and buildable design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local bye-laws, development control regulations, NBC guidelines, and relevant building codes.
- Prepare and submit drawings for statutory approvals, NOCs, and building permits as required.

- Conduct site visits for design review, quality checks, and coordination with contractors and site teams.
- Prepare design presentations, 3D visualisations, and client-ready documents.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material samples for compliance with design intent.
2. Residential Interior Design
- Develop interior design concepts for residential spaces including living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Prepare interior design drawings including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and joinery details.
- Prepare interior finish schedules, material boards, and furniture layouts.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for interior finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Support the Interior Designer in design development and client presentations.
- Ensure design continuity and coherence between the architectural envelope and interior spaces.
3. Project Coordination & Management
- Manage project timelines, deliverable schedules, and coordination across consultants and contractors.
- Maintain project documentation including drawing registers, correspondence logs, and approvals tracker.
- Attend and document client meetings, design reviews, and site meetings.
- Assist in preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents in coordination with the project team.
- Proactively flag design risks, value engineering opportunities, and design conflicts to the Senior Architect.
4. Client Engagement
- Participate in client briefing sessions to understand and document design requirements and aspirations.
- Develop and present design proposals, explaining design intent clearly and confidently to clients.
- Manage client feedback and incorporate revisions into design documentation in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised university.
- Council of Architecture (COA) registration is mandatory.
- Post-graduation or specialisation in Interior Design or related field will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional post-qualification experience in residential architecture and interior design.
- Demonstrable experience in independently handling residential projects across design, documentation, and site stages.
- Experience working with high-end residential / luxury residential projects preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / ArchiCAD for 3D modelling.
- Ability to produce and review detailed working drawings and construction documents.
- Knowledge of Indian building bye-laws, NBC, and local municipal approval processes.
- Familiarity with interior design software (3ds Max / Lumion / Enscape) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reports and presentations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
