Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced NPD Engineer to handle new product development activities, product documentation, process planning, and coordination with Quality, Production, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle New Product Development (NPD) activities from development to production.
- Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, Control Plan, and PFD documents.
- Create and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Control Plans.
- Identify potential product and process risks using FMEA/DFMEA.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and other departments during product development.
- Support trial runs, prototype development, and product validation.
- Ensure new products meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain proper NPD-related documentation and records.
- Support corrective actions and improvements during product development.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of PPAP
- Good knowledge of FMEA / DFMEA
- Good knowledge of APQP
- Knowledge of Control Plan
- Experience in PFD (Process Flow Diagram) creation
- Knowledge of New Product Development processes
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Around 4 years of relevant experience in NPD / New Product Development.
Salary:
- ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
