- Monitor and record basic vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.
- Support nurses and doctors during patient care procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, beds, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.
- Assist in transporting patients to different departments (lab, radiology, OT, etc.).
- Ensure availability of required supplies in patient care areas.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines.
- Maintain patient records and documentation as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma in Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Assistant / ANM (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (freshers can also apply if trained)
- Basic knowledge of patient care and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in shifts
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends
