About the role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analytics Associate / Senior Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across finance, business, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights, building scalable reporting solutions, and collaborating across functions to improve financial performance. You will play a key role in developing business intelligence dashboards, automating reporting processes, integrating data from multiple sources, and enabling strategic decision-making through meaningful analytics.
Specifically, this role will involve:
● Developing, maintaining, and optimizing financial and business dashboards using Looker Studio and Power BI.
● Extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets using SQL and Google BigQuery to generate actionable insights.
● Designing and automating recurring financial, operational, and management reports.
● Building and maintaining data models for budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and KPI tracking.
● Integrating data from ERP systems, D2C platforms, payment gateways, and other business applications.
● Working with APIs to extract and consolidate data from e-commerce and D2C platforms.
● Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting systems.
● Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis, business reviews, and strategic decision-making initiatives.
● Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve operational efficiency.
● Collaborating closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver scalable analytical solutions.
Ideal candidate will have:
● 2–6 years of experience in Finance Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
● Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, SQL, Looker Studio, and Power BI.
● Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting.
● Strong understanding of finance concepts including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, revenue analysis, margins, and financial reporting.
● Experience working with APIs and integrating data from D2C/e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Woo Commerce, or Magento.
● Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments and data warehousing concepts.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
● Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
● Exposure to automation tools or scripting languages will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
