Job Title: Placement Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to lead and manage the placement activities of our institute. The candidate will be responsible for building strong industry relationships, generating placement opportunities for students, coordinating recruitment drives, and ensuring successful student placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies, corporates, and hiring partners for student placements.
- Generate placement opportunities for students across IT, Engineering, Management, Accounts, and other relevant domains.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, walk-ins, and virtual hiring events.
- Liaise with HR teams and hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements.
- Conduct placement-related activities including resume building, interview preparation, and career guidance sessions.
- Maintain placement records, MIS reports, and placement statistics.
- Collaborate with academic and training teams to align student skills with industry requirements.
- Organize industry visits, guest lectures, seminars, and networking events.
- Ensure achievement of placement targets and student employment goals.
- Track student progress and provide support throughout the placement process.
- Build strategic partnerships with companies for internships, live projects, and final placements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, Business Development, Recruitment, or Training & Placement.
- Strong corporate networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to organize placement drives and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of recruitment processes and industry hiring trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Education, EdTech, Training Institutes, Colleges, or Universities.
- Existing network of corporate clients and hiring partners will be an added advantage.
