We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Law Professor to join our academic faculty. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate law courses, conducting legal research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures on assigned law subjects (e.g., Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law).
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans
- Conduct assessments, examinations, and provide timely feedback to students
- Guide and supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court activities
- Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable legal journals
- Participate in curriculum development and academic committees
- Organize and contribute to seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Provide academic mentorship and career guidance to students
- Stay updated with legal developments and integrate them into teaching
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) from a recognized university (Ph.D. preferred)
- Strong academic record with specialization in a relevant area of law
- Prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles)
- Proven research and publication record (for senior roles)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with legal research tools and databases
- Practical legal experience (litigation, corporate law, etc.) is an advantage
- Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
