Assistant Manager – HR will support and drive HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance initiatives for a fast-paced advertising agency environment. The role requires partnering with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain creative, client servicing, media, strategy, and support talent.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for creative, media, client servicing, digital, and support functions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment partners.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Manage employee documentation and HRIS records.
- Handle exit formalities, clearance processes, and exit interviews.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Build and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Plan employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and team events.
- Address employee concerns and support conflict resolution.
Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles.
- Track goal setting, reviews, and feedback processes.
- Support managers in performance improvement initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and benefits administration.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate internal and external learning programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and employee development plans.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports.
- Track recruitment metrics, attrition, employee engagement, and other HR KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 4–7 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in advertising, media, digital, or creative agencies.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
