About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive who will be responsible for generating business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels.
- Contact prospective customers to understand their business requirements and identify sales opportunities.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.
- Explain company products and services to potential customers and address their queries.
- Manage and update lead information in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth lead conversion.
- Achieve monthly targets for lead generation, meetings scheduled, and sales closures.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on pipeline status.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Tele-Sales, Business Development, or Lead Generation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Experience in cold calling and lead qualification.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales and lead generation.
- Exposure to IT, Software, SaaS, Technology, or Service-based sales will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Naukri, Apollo, or similar prospecting tools.
