Job Summary:
The Supplies Department Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of supplies necessary for the smooth operation of the organization. This role involves working closely with vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining inventory levels to meet organizational needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify and establish relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and terms of service to secure the best pricing and quality.
- Order Management: Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of supplies. Track orders and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about supplier options, pricing trends, and new products. Analyze market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze purchasing trends and spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare reports for management to support decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (such as operations, finance, and production) to understand supply needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with organizational policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting periodic stock audits, and collaborating with warehouse teams to facilitate efficient stock handling.
- Issue Resolution: Address any issues related to supply deliveries, quality, or payment discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all purchase activities, supplier communications, and contracts.
Pay: ₹10,806.23 - ₹37,227.68 per month
