Role & responsibilities
- Provides first hand service of equipment in break down condition.
- Ensures proper functioning of medical equipment in All OTs, ICUs, Diagnostic Area & Day Care. To ensure preventive maintenance is done according to the prepared schedule. Also, to ensure the prompt action on the breakdown calls received from departments & strive for minimum downtime.
- Supports other biomedical engineers in their respective areas.
- Manages Installation of medical equipment and ensures proper handover to the end users.
- Does inventory management for biomedical records Including preventive maintenance schedules, spare part descriptions, master sheet preparation towards area-wise distribution of equipment.
- Receives Medical equipment from the vendors/ company and matches it as per the purchase order.
- Maintains equipment file/track records i.e. electrical safety, calibration test and breakdown records.
- Maintains the quality documents as per the requirement of accreditation norms.
- Prepares a comprehensive detailed database of vendors, service engineers for efficient arrangement of traces & specific manpower at the time of equipment breakdown.
- Establishes an efficient network of local vendors in order to arrange emergency items during critical times.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
