Role Summary: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless delivery of products while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy: Design, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies that align with business goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational agility.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze market trends, generate accurate demand forecasts, and prevent stock-outs or excess inventory holding.
- Inventory Control & Optimization: Set and monitor critical inventory parameters (Min-Max, ROP, Safety Stock). Oversee regular audits to maintain high Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) across all warehouses and retail channels.
- Logistics & Distribution Management: Manage line-haul and last-mile logistics operations. Negotiate contracts with 3PLs and freight forwarders to optimize shipping costs and enforce strict On-Time Delivery (OTD) SLAs.
- Vendor & Sourcing Management: Build robust relationships with suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance, manage lead times, and resolve supply bottlenecks or quality discrepancies.
- Warehousing Operations: Oversee warehouse capacity planning, layout optimization, and material handling processes (FIFO/FEFO) to ensure fast turnaround and minimal transit damage.
- System & Process Improvement: Act as the functional owner of the ERP system for supply chain modules. Automate manual processes, build performance dashboards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and manage the supply chain operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (APICS/CSCP certification is a plus).
- Experience: 5–8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in retail, FMCG, or B2B sectors.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho) and advanced MS Excel/data analytics tools.
- Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, vendor management expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally under tight deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹68,000.00 per month
