STEM Skill Trainer (Junior/Fresher)

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative STEM Skill Trainer to support the development and delivery of hands-on learning experiences for students from Grades 6–10. The role involves guiding students through engineering, science, design thinking, prototyping, sustainability, creativity, and problem-solving activities as part of the Fix It World program.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Environmental Science or any related field),
- Fresher’s with strong interest in STEM education are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with experience in STEM education, maker spaces, DIY projects, craft, or science activities will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging STEM and hands-on learning sessions.
- Guide students in engineering design, repair, sustainability, and creative problem-solving.
- Assist in prototype building using Terracotta clay and modelling clay, experiments, and classroom activities.
- Maintain workshop materials and ensure safe use of tools.
- Encourage teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking.
- Support curriculum implementation and provide activity feedback.
Required Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
- Basic knowledge of science and engineering concepts.
- Creativity and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and teaching methods.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of basic multidisciplinary field.
- Experience with arts, crafts, prototyping, or DIY activities.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Canva, Tinkercad, education tools or similar software is a plus.
