About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Strategist & Account Director to lead our SEO practice, manage client relationships, and drive strategic growth across our account portfolio. This role combines strategic thinking, client management excellence, team leadership, and business development to deliver exceptional results for our clients while scaling our SEO capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Primary point of contact for all assigned client accounts
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and gather feedback
- Manage client expectations and proactively address concerns
- Build long-term partnerships aligned with client business objectives
- Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to C-level stakeholders
2. Strategic Leadership & Direction
- Provide strategic vision and direction to SEO teams across all accounts
- Develop comprehensive SEO roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Guide teams on technical SEO, content strategy, and link building
- Review and approve strategic deliverables
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends
3. New Business Development
- Create compelling SEO proposals for prospective clients
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and competitive analysis
- Develop customized SEO plans with clear KPIs and timelines
- Present proposals to prospects with confidence
- Support contract negotiations and scope definition
4. Client Retention & Growth
- Design and implement retention strategies for long-term partnerships
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Create quarterly business reviews (QBRs) showcasing value
- Proactively address performance gaps
5. Product & Service Innovation
- Drive continuous improvement in SEO service offerings
- Identify gaps and recommend new offerings (GEO, voice search, AI)
- Implement process improvements
- Introduce new tools and technologies
- Gather client feedback to inform product roadmap
6. Team Development & Training
- Organize and conduct training sessions for team members
- Develop training curriculum on SEO, analytics, and client management
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions
- Build culture of continuous learning
7. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Contribute to agency revenue targets through new client acquisition
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Represent agency at industry events and conferences
- Develop thought leadership content
- Support pricing strategies and service packaging
8. Client Escalation Management
- Proactively minimize client escalations
- Quickly address and resolve client concerns
- Serve as primary escalation point
- Conduct root cause analysis

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
