Job Description
Soham Retreat is looking for a responsible and experienced Housekeeping Staff cum Kitchen Helper to support the daily housekeeping and kitchen requirements of our residential yoga and healing retreat in Rishikesh.
The person will help maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and common areas while also assisting in the kitchen. The retreat generally accommodates approximately 15 guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
- Change bedsheets and prepare rooms for arriving guests.
- Assist with laundry and the proper arrangement of linen.
- Keep housekeeping supplies organized and inform management when stock is low.
- Wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces and maintain kitchen hygiene.
- Help with washing, peeling, cutting and preparing vegetables.
- Assist the cook with basic food preparation, serving and clearing meals.
- Prepare simple staff meals when required.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Follow hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
- Support other routine housekeeping or kitchen duties when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, kitchen assistance, hospitality, hotels, guest houses, ashrams or retreat centres.
- Able to prepare simple vegetarian staff meals.
- Comfortable communicating in Hindi.
- Physically able to perform cleaning and kitchen-related duties.
- Willing to work from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Available to join immediately.

Salary and Benefits
- Fixed monthly salary between ₹12,000 and ₹20,000, depending on experience and suitability.
- Meals provided.
- Both live-in and commuting candidates may apply.
- Accommodation available for the selected live-in candidate.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
