**Role Overview**
We are looking for an experienced AS/400 (IBM i / System i) Developer with strong expertise in RPG, RPGLE, CL/400, DB2/400, SQL, JSON, APIs, and Implementer. The candidate will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into effective solutions, developing and maintaining AS/400 applications, and delivering high-quality code, unit tests, and technical documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective AS/400 solutions.
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using RPG/RPGLE and CL/400.
* Develop and maintain database objects and applications using DB2/400 and SQL.
* Develop and consume APIs and work with JSON-based data formats for application integration.
* Perform application enhancements, debugging, testing, and production support.
* Use Implementer for application change management, deployment, and release activities.
* Prepare functional and technical designs, code, unit test cases, and technical documentation.
* Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver solutions within project timelines.
* Follow coding standards, development processes, and quality guidelines.
