Job Description – Business Head

Location: 389P-390, 1st Floor, Sector 29, Gurugram, Haryana – 122022
Experience: 15+ years
Budget: 10 to 12 LPA
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Head to lead and drive the growth of our manufacturing/biofuel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business strategies, expanding market presence, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring operational excellence to achieve organizational objectives.
Experience Required
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership experience in Manufacturing, Biofuel, Renewable Energy, Chemical, or related industries
- Experience in P&L management, business development, operations, and strategic planning
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across business operations.
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Sales & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships and major commercial agreements.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share.
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and overall P&L responsibility.
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and financial discipline.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve organizational goals.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and business meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, regulatory authorities, and key customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and/or biofuel industry dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
