We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Front-End Developer who can convert ideas and requirements into professional website mockups and responsive web interfaces.
The ideal candidate should be able to create mockup designs, present them for approval, and then convert approved designs into clean, responsive, and well-structured HTML pages. The candidate must also be capable of identifying and resolving responsive design, browser compatibility, and user-interface issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and create professional website mockups.
- Design layouts for websites, landing pages, dashboards, and web applications.
- Present mockups to the management or client and make revisions based on feedback.
- Convert approved mockups into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript designs.
- Ensure websites work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Identify and fix responsive design and layout issues.
- Resolve cross-browser compatibility problems.
- Improve existing website designs and user interfaces.
- Create reusable front-end components and maintain consistent design standards.
- Optimize pages for performance, accessibility, and usability.
- Work closely with backend developers, project coordinators, and management.
- Ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
- Maintain clean, structured, and well-documented code.
- Complete assigned projects within the required timelines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Good knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Experience creating website mockups and interface designs.
- Ability to convert approved designs into pixel-accurate HTML pages.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, spacing, colour balance, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience fixing responsive issues on mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging.
- Knowledge of CSS Flexbox and CSS Grid.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience with image optimisation and web performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Design Tools
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- Figma
- Adobe XD
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Sketch
- Canva
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with any of the following will be an added advantage:
- Tailwind CSS

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of front-end development experience preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio of website mockups and completed front-end projects is required.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to understand requirements and suggest design improvements.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to make design revisions based on feedback.
