Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Operator / Supervisor to manage laser cutting operations for agricultural equipment and implement manufacturing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering drawings, nesting software, material optimization, machine operations, and production planning. The role involves ensuring quality production, minimizing material wastage, and supervising laser cutting activities on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and supervise CNC Laser Cutting Machines efficiently.
* Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Prepare and optimize nesting plans to maximize material utilization and reduce scrap.
* Program and set up laser cutting jobs as per production requirements.
* Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth operation during production.
* Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of cut components.
* Coordinate with Production, Design, and Planning departments regarding job schedules.
* Maintain production records, machine logs, and material consumption reports.
* Conduct first-piece inspection and quality checks during production.
* Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate maintenance when required.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
* Train and guide operators and helpers working under the laser cutting section.
* Monitor productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 3–8 years of experience in Laser Cutting operations and supervision.
* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
* Strong knowledge of Nesting Software and CNC programming.
* Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
* Knowledge of raw materials used in agricultural implement manufacturing.
* Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Ability to plan production and meet delivery deadlines.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in agricultural implements, farm machinery, or heavy fabrication industry.
* Experience handling fiber laser cutting machines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
