Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Lucknow. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST compliance, Tally accounting software, and a solid understanding of general accounting principles. Knowledge of import & export procedures will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns and compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and ledger management.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and MIS reports.
- Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors when required.
- Monitor inventory, vendor payments, and customer accounts.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation, transactions, and compliances would be considered a strong plus.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in a manufacturing/trading/export business).
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, and other statutory compliances.
- Good understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
- Knowledge of import/export accounting will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Experience from manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
