- You'll be joining the ranks of our T&D Global practice has been providing round-the-clock support to our US offices since 2016.
- You'll report to department & functional managers, and your focus? Work on exciting projects related to the design of overhead transmission lines, substations, underground and overhead distribution lines, NIA, industrial electrical facilities, and pipelines.
- And these projects aren't limited to a local scale; they are positioned globally,reflecting our worldwide impact.
- You'll be a part of our vibrant T&D Global Practice and work on exciting projects related to the design of overhead transmission lines, substations, underground and overhead distribution lines, NIA,industrial electrical facilities, and pipelines.
- Performing distribution line modelling, analysis and design, structural analysis and design of line poles in O-Calc,Spida-Calc and other tools
- Preparing drawings, designs, and reports to be carried out in accordance with relevant codes of practice, standards, regulatory authorities, and clients' requirements - all under a suitable level of supervision from a senior engineer
- Analyzing drawings and making proposals
- Recommending modifications
- Carrying out appropriate reviews of submissions and providing review reports
- Participating in technical meetings with clients
- Providing specialist knowledge input and keeping up to date with the latest developments in particular fields
- Ensuring that all duties are carried out according to the company's quality systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a reputed university/institute in India
- Candidate should be passing out as part of the 2027 batch only
- Proficient in the English language
- Prior internship at transmission/distribution preferred
- Candidates who have completed CAD course will have an added advantage.
- Computer software knowledge in MS-office, Auto-Cad, MicroStation, Analysis software/ tools, Google Earth, Arc-GIS, Civil-3D
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed within the continental U.S. to support assignments on projects and overall office needs
- Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer
- A committed team player able to work on own initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, flexible
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate effectively with internal team members and external clients
- Flexibility to work in different roles for different clients both locally and worldwide
