Server Administration Functions:
1. Planning, Installing, configuring, maintaining & managing servers with different Operating Systems like Windows, Linux and databases, web servers on local or cloud Servers like AWS, Google Cloud & Azure.
2. Coordinate with development, implementation & client teams to plan sizing, procurement and installations of servers for the clients.
3. Plan & maintain failover & failback server facility for critical servers
4. Plan & maintain server backups for disaster recovery or server crashes or server hacks.
5. Need based planning & execution of OS, other software upgrades.
6. Ensure the computer infrastructure is safe against Virus, malware & hackings.
Network Administration Functions:
1. Planning, Installing, configuring, managing computer networks & Network devices
2. Identifying and solving any problems that may arise with local, VPN & cloud networks.
3. Plan & maintain failover & failback network infrastructure for critical services
3. Monitor the health of computer networks and network devices & take timely corrective actions for 99.99 uptime.
4. Strive for Network performance improvement
Cloud Network Administration:
1. Planning, Installing, configuring, managing routers, broadband / leased line connections, VPNs for the multi-node networks
2. Ensure, high uptime of connectivity with cloud VPS, cloud dedicated servers and cloud servers on AWS, Google, Azure.
Pre-requisites:
· Strong knowledge of computer network infrastructure.
· Strong knowledge of server administration
· Preference for those who have Network Administration certifications from AWS, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
Experience:
Minimum experience of 5 years in the above job functions.
