Position Details:
- Role: CSS Accounting Consultant
- Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai (Hybrid: 2 Days/Week In-Office)
- Shift: EMEA Shift (Supporting European Markets)
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Max
Position Overview In this role, you will be a critical contributor to the core NAV lifecycle. We are moving beyond basic data entry; you will be responsible for the full "end-to-end" NAV calculation and preparation. This includes hands-on General Ledger (GL) management and journal entry posting across a diverse range of fund types and asset management structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Core NAV Preparation: Own the end-to-end NAV calculation process, ensuring all components are validated and reported with absolute precision.
- Strategic Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash, with a deep understanding of the underlying financial impact and root-cause analysis.
- General Ledger Management: Manage hands-on posting of Journal Entries (GL) and maintain the integrity of the general ledger for various fund structures.
- Multifund Accounting: Support diverse fund types and Asset Management products, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards.
- Upstream/Downstream Collaboration: Coordinate with AML/KYC teams to ensure seamless data flow and compliance throughout the fund lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills
- Core Mandatory Requirements:
- End-to-End NAV: Proven experience in manual and automated NAV preparation.
- GL Posting: Hands-on experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries.
- Reconciliation Expertise: Strong exposure with a clear ability to explain the "what and why" of the process.
- Industry Background: Solid experience in Fund Accounting and Asset Management.
- Preferred / Target Profiles:
- Background from CITCO, SS&C, or similar global fund administrators.
- Exposure to tools such as MCH or Bloomberg.
- Professional certification (CA, MBA Finance, or equivalent).
