Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Prepare tax returns, statutory filings, and regulatory reports as required.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance and cost efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with management on financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
