Grade 2 mother teacher manages the holistic academic, emotional, and social development of young learners while serving as their primary caregiver and instructor in the classroom.
Job Summary
The Grade 2 Mother Teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging child-centered environment. This role teaches core subjects, monitors student progress, and ensures a smooth, supportive transition for seven-to-eight-year-old children in formal primary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Curriculum: Plan and deliver interactive lessons for core subjects like English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (EVS) using activity-based learning.
- Pastoral Care: Support the emotional, social, and behavioral well-being of every student.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a warm, inclusive, and disciplined classroom atmosphere where children feel secure.
- Progress Tracking: Assess student growth, record developmental milestones, and identify learning gaps.
- Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with parents, provide regular updates on child progress, and address behavioral or academic concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduation in any stream with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), D.El.Ed, D.Ed., or Teacher Training Course (TTC).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience teaching early primary grades (Grade 1 or 2).
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication in English, high patience, empathy, and strong organizational skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
