- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the nursing staff.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and patient safety at all times.
- Prepare and maintain duty rosters and shift allocations.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
- Conduct nursing rounds and ensure proper nursing documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for effective patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control protocols.
- Monitor medication administration and nursing procedures.
- Ensure adequate availability of medicines, equipment, and nursing supplies.
- Train, guide, and evaluate nursing staff and new joiners.
- Handle patient and attendant complaints related to nursing services.
- Report clinical incidents and take corrective actions.
- Maintain patient records, registers, and departmental reports.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the nursing unit.
- Perform any other duties assigned by hospital management.
