Hurun Report is an UK based research, media, investment and events company that tracks wealth creation and entrepreneurship, founded by Rupert Hoogewerf. With global existence in US, UK, China, Singapore, France, Australia and India, it is best known for publishing annual rankings of world’s richest individuals and most successful entrepreneurs. Hurun India is the Indian arm of the global Hurun brand.
Key Responsibilities
· Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and other short-form content.
· Edit long-form interviews, podcasts, explainers, documentaries, and event videos.
· Handle multi-camera (2–3 camera) edits with seamless synchronization.
· Create motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects.
· Perform colour correction, grading, sound design, and audio enhancement.
· Add subtitles, captions, lower thirds, and branded graphics.
· Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketing teams.
· Manage multiple editing projects with quick turnaround times.
· Organize and maintain media libraries and project files.
· Ensure brand consistency and stay updated on editing trends and AI tools.
· Assist during shoots when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related field.
· 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing.
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
· Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
· Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, or equivalent is an advantage.
· Strong storytelling, pacing, and editing skills.
· Experience with vertical and horizontal video formats.
· Knowledge of codecs, exports, and platform optimization.
· Strong sound design and audio editing skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Preferred Qualities
· Creative with strong attention to detail.
· Passionate about social media and viral content.
· Excellent communication and teamwork.
· Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
· Interest in business and current affairs content.
· Familiarity with AI editing tools is a plus.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai. We work Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 6PM
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹430,000.00 per year
