Experience: 3 to 7 years
Position: Senior Merchandiser
Key Responsibilities
- Source fabrics and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate procurement of textile packaging materials, trims, and accessories.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Handle supplier negotiations and build long-term business relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth production and order execution.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain procurement records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of textiles, fabrics, garment production, and textile packaging.
- Good understanding of trims, accessories, and fabric sourcing.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Excellent vendor and supplier management abilities with diplomatic negotiation skills.
- Fluent in both Hindi and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in textile merchandising, sourcing, or procurement is preferred.
