Job Description – NPD (New Product Development) Engineer
Experience: 2+ Years
Key Requirement: Good knowledge and practical exposure to IATF requirements and Audit
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the development of manufacturing process flow from enquiry to job completion.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform product and process costing.
- Conduct feasibility checks and freeze confirmed parameters.
- Manage engineering changes effectively.
- Work closely with production floor teams as required.
- Participate in learning and development activities to enhance performance.
- Handle additional responsibilities as required based on organizational needs.
- Develop and manage APQP, PPAP, and FMEA documentation.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Automobile / Aerospace / Production Engineering.
- Good knowledge and practical exposure to IATF requirements.
- Quick learner with creative thinking ability.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work under pressure.
- Strong task prioritization and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Ability to represent the company in discussions with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Self-motivated with a task-oriented approach and ability to balance initiative and delegation.
- Knowledge of cost reduction, scrap reduction, and forecasting.
- Understanding of measuring instruments, unit conversion, and part measurement.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
