We are seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology department and shape our long-term technical strategy. As the CTO, you will be the absolute authority on our technology stack, infrastructure, and engineering practices. You will align our technology initiatives with core business goals, lead and scale a world-class engineering team, and drive innovation to keep us ahead of market trends. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a proven leader, and deeply passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Strategy & Vision: Establish the company's technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development, ensuring alignment with commercial and growth objectives.
- Team Leadership & Scaling: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-caliber team of engineers, developers, and technical leads. Foster a culture of execution, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Architecture & Infrastructure: Oversee system architecture, infrastructure, and technical design choices to ensure maximum scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
- Product Delivery: Work closely with Product Management to define timelines, manage the development lifecycle, and consistently deliver high-quality software features and updates.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust data privacy, cybersecurity protocols, and compliance frameworks to protect company and customer data.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring smart ROI on infrastructure costs, third-party tooling, and technical debt management.
- Innovation & R&D: Stay ahead of emerging technology trends, assessing and introducing new tools, frameworks, or methodologies where they add distinct business value.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior technical leadership role (e.g., VP of Engineering, Director of Technology, or CTO).
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), DevOps practices, and agile development methodologies.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven track record of building, scaling, and managing high-performing engineering teams from the ground up.
- Business Acumen: Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under tight timelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
