Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Diploma Trainee Engineer (Electronics) to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. The trainee will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting production machinery, electrical panels, and automation systems while gaining hands-on experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Support troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Help maintain PLCs, sensors, VFDs, HMIs, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and routine inspections.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and logbooks.
- Ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and company policies.
- Support utility equipment maintenance, including compressors, air systems, and electrical distribution.
- Participate in TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to minimize machine downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Instrumentation.
- Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers are encouraged to apply.)
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Understanding of PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in shifts.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Exposure to FMCG, Food, Cosmetics, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing during training or internship.
- Understanding of GMP, 5S, and safety practices.
