Job Title: Sports Teacher (Physical Education Teacher)
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Sports Teacher to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. The ideal candidate should be capable of planning and conducting engaging physical education classes, coaching students in various sports, and organizing school sports events and competitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Physical Education classes for students across different grade levels.
- Teach and demonstrate a variety of indoor and outdoor sports and fitness activities.
- Plan and organize annual sports day, inter-house competitions, and other sporting events.
- Identify and nurture talented students for inter-school and state-level competitions.
- Ensure student safety during all sports activities and maintain discipline on the field.
- Develop students' physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper use and storage.
- Prepare lesson plans, attendance records, and performance assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers and school management to promote a healthy and active school environment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant teaching or coaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sports rules, fitness training, and child development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
