Production Supervisor
Experience
- 3–5 years in an automotive manufacturing or engineering industry
- Experience in CNC machining, press shop, hobbing, or production line supervision will be preferred
Qualification
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidates with relevant production experience may also apply
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor manpower utilization, machine productivity, and process efficiency.
- Ensure product quality as per customer and company standards.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and machine performance data.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores departments.
- Implement and follow 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices on the shop floor.
- Minimize rejection, rework, downtime, and production losses.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules and dispatch requirements.
- Train and guide operators to improve productivity and quality.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
- Ability to solve shop-floor issues quickly
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP preferred)
- Good communication and reporting skills
