About Us:
Govardhan Overseas is a growing FMCG company specializing in premium dry fruits and spices, committed to delivering quality, authenticity, and health to our customers. As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Executive to lead and manage our modern trade and institutional sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, onboard, and manage Modern Trade accounts (e.g., Big Bazaar, D-Mart, Reliance, Nature’s Basket, etc.)
· Develop and execute B2B and Institutional sales strategies targeting hotels, restaurants, caterers, corporate gifting partners, and bulk buyers.
· Drive listing, promotions, and visibility in key modern trade outlets.
· Build long-term relationships with key buyers and institutional clients.
· Regularly monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and report on market trends and competitor activities.
· Manage and coordinate with internal supply chain, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and execution.
· Negotiate commercials, contracts, and ensure profitable growth in assigned channels.
· Conduct periodic product training and promotional activities at retail and institutional level.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales in the FMCG sector, preferably with exposure to modern trade and institutional sales.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic B2B relationships.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong market understanding and network in the FMCG segment.
· Self-driven with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
