About the Role:
Gemius Studios is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst (MIS) who can transform business data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards, managing business information systems, analysing operational and financial data, and supporting leadership with data-driven decision-making.
This role requires someone with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge, experience with BI tools, and the ability to work across multiple business functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDashboard Development & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain interactive business dashboards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor key business metrics and ensure dashboard accuracy.
- Create ad hoc reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Automate recurring reports wherever possible.
Data Analytics & Business Insights
- Analyse operational, financial, sales, inventory, and marketing data.
- Identify business trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Generate actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Track KPIs and present findings to leadership teams.
Information Systems & Data Management
- Build and maintain scalable data repositories and information systems.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain clean, organized, and reliable datasets.
- Support data validation, governance, and documentation.
Business Intelligence
- Develop executive dashboards for founders and senior management.
- Assist in forecasting, planning, and performance analysis.
- Monitor business performance and prepare monthly analytical reports.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other business teams.
- Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders.
- Improve data visibility and reporting across departments.
- Train users on dashboards and reporting tools when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, advanced formulas, charts).
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, agency, or startup environments.
- Understanding of financial, operational, marketing, and inventory reporting.
- Experience in building automated reporting systems and business dashboards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain 100% dashboard and report accuracy.
- Ensure all dashboards are updated on time.
- Build and deploy 2–3 new dashboards every month based on business requirements.
- Resolve data-related issues within 2 business days.
- Deliver timely ad hoc reports and business analyses.
- Maintain complete documentation of data sources and reporting systems.
- Ensure dashboards provide fast performance and a seamless user experience.
- Support leadership with reliable insights for strategic decision-making.

Week Off: 2nd & 4th Saturday
Leaves: 15 Paid Leaves per year
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
