About The Nilaya
The Nilaya is an award-winning boutique hotel in Mashobra, known for its warm hospitality, elevated dining experiences, and thoughtfully curated guest experiences. We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and further elevate our food offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations across restaurants, events, and special dining experiences.
- Design, update, and innovate menus while maintaining consistency and profitability.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, inventory, and kitchen budgets.
- Develop seasonal menus and special promotions.
- Coordinate with management on guest feedback, events, and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of culinary experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, and modern hospitality dining.
- Experience managing teams and kitchen operations independently.
- Excellent understanding of food costing and inventory control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
