Job Summary
The TGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi Language and Literature to students of Grades VI to X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The role involves fostering language proficiency, critical thinking, creativity, and appreciation for Hindi literature while creating an engaging, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi Language and Literature to Grades VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
- Deliver engaging lessons focusing on reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, speaking, and literature.
- Incorporate experiential, activity-based, and competency-based learning strategies.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom teaching.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare question papers, evaluation rubrics, report cards, and maintain academic records.
- Provide remedial support for slow learners and enrichment activities for advanced learners.
- Prepare students for school competitions, Olympiads, debates, recitation, storytelling, essay writing, and other literary events.
Student Development
- Promote effective communication skills and appreciation for Hindi language and culture.
- Foster values, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through language learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Mentor students and monitor their academic and behavioural progress.
Parent & School Collaboration
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and curriculum planning.
- Participate actively in school assemblies, celebrations, cultural programmes, educational trips, and other school events.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programmes, workshops, and training sessions.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance, lesson records, assessment data, and ERP updates.
- Complete all academic documentation within stipulated timelines.
- Perform examination duties, invigilation, and other responsibilities assigned by the school management.
- Support school initiatives and contribute positively to institutional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory).
- Master's Degree in Hindi is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience teaching Grades VI–X is preferred.

- Strong command of Hindi language, grammar, and literature.
- Good communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, smart classroom tools, and educational technology.

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
