Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant will support warehouse operations, inventory management, and general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, organized, punctual, and comfortable working in both warehouse and office environments.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Dispatch Operations
- Manage the complete inward and outward material process.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
- Pack materials securely and accurately for domestic and international dispatch.
- Coordinate courier bookings and shipping arrangements with logistics partners.
- Prepare materials for dispatch and ensure timely shipment.
- loading and unloading of materials safely.
- Track shipments and follow up with courier/forwarder partners until delivery.
- Maintain dispatch records, inward and outward registers, and shipment documentation.
- Perform inventory counting, stock reconciliation, and periodic stock audits.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Support warehouse inspections and quality checks.
- Learn and assist in the manufacturing/assembly of products (training will be provided).
Administrative Support
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, inward and outward material movements.
- Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic records in a systematic manner.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation.
- Monitor office and pantry supplies and inform the Admin team when replenishment is required.
- Assist in coordinating vendor visits, maintenance activities, and office housekeeping requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of office common areas, warehouse office, and pantry.
- Support day-to-day office administrative activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License is mandatory and Four-Wheeler Driving License is Optional.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing warehouse duties, including lifting and packing materials.
- Punctual with excellent attendance.
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.
- Basic knowledge of computer
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Undri, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
