Job Title: OT In-Charge (Operation Theatre Incharge)
Location: Shri Shyam Hospital, Kotputli
Job Summary:
The OT In-Charge will oversee the complete functioning of the Operation Theatre with a primary focus on Orthopedic Surgeries, ensuring smooth surgical flow, proper scheduling, and zero overlap of procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily OT operations with emphasis on orthopedic cases
- Ensure OT readiness for procedures like fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, etc.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Coordinate with orthopedic surgeons, anesthetists, and OT staff
- Plan and manage the OT schedule effectively to avoid overlapping of surgeries
- Allocate appropriate time slots for each procedure based on case complexity
- Ensure smooth patient flow and timely case turnover in OT
- Handle orthopedic instruments, implants, and equipment efficiently
- Ensure availability of implants, prosthesis, and surgical consumables
- Supervise OT technicians and nursing staff
- Maintain OT records and documentation
- Ensure readiness for emergency trauma cases
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in OT Technology or Nursing
- 3–5 years of OT experience (Orthopedic OT preferred)
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures and instruments
- Experience with C-arm, power tools, and implant systems
- Good planning, coordination, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure and emergency situations
