Job Summary:
The Pre Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children aged 2–4 years. The teacher will support early childhood development through play-based learning, basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the kindergarten curriculum
- Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, and rhymes
- Encourage social, emotional, and language development in children
- Create a warm, safe, and child-friendly classroom environment
- Use creative methods such as storytelling, songs, games, and art activities
- Observe and assess each child’s progress and development
- Maintain classroom discipline with positive guidance techniques
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior
- Maintain attendance records and student portfolios
- Participate in school events, meetings, and training programs
