Position Description

Business Division: AgChem Brands

Department: IT

Location: Gurgaon

Position Title: Lead Agri IT

Level: Middle Management

Reporting To: Head Functional Delivery & Projects

Position Purpose

The incumbent will oversee the SAP Sales & Distribution module and other Information technology interventions (Hardware and Applications) for the AgChem Brands business, ensuring functional delivery happens in an integrated manner with other modules as SAP MM , FICO , QM & PP.

Should have fair understanding of manufacturing process and distribution life cycle preferably in Chemical & Pharma industry. Will also be required to lead integrations with NON-SAP systems through middleware , file based solutions.

Strategic Responsibilities

Provide inputs to Applications Head for budget development for the SAP vertical.
Identify and suggest continuous improvements in methods, processes, and technologies that produce high performance integration solutions.
Able to perform detailed analysis of business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; Facilitate to collect, understand and validate the business.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.

Operational Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering

Able to map business requirements and understand the integration with other modules
Understand and document as-is process.
Liaising between the business functions and the technical team.

Implementation

Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
Have good knowledge of customization, configuration and testing of SAP all Modules.
Modify masters and forms as per requirement and transform planning data to SAP
Construct and test enhancements to SAP ensuring close coordination and integration with other SAP modules.
Work closely with the SAP Run Team in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support.
Support Functional consultant on business transformation / automation project Prepare change document functional designs, test cases and results for changes and modifications. Understanding of integration of SD modules with FI, CO-PA, MM and CS modules and having basic accounting business processes.

Troubleshooting

Resolve incidents/Service requests raised, perform analysis and find solutions to fix recurring problems.
Documentation / Compliance
Create & maintain all required technical documentation as per IS methodology and processes around SAP and other projects allotted.

Training, MIS and Reporting

Configure Reports and train on their utilization to functional teams
Develop training presentations
Provide application and reporting requirement support and query resolution for end users.

Financial Responsibilities

Provide inputs for near- and long-term financial forecasting for expanded functionality/ user base

People Responsibilities

Attend trainings on training needs identified or imparted by HR to enhance performance.
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively leading the team and interacting with cross functional teams
Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.

Education Qualification

Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science - B. Tech., B.E, MCA, SAP Certification, Prince2/PMP certification.

Work Experience

10-15 years plus experience in SAP configuration (2-3 E2E implementation) and Support Projects. Basic ABAP/BASIS knowledge is desirable. SAP SD certification desirable
