Forward Deployment Consultant (FDC) is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for translating the vision of autonomous operations into tangible outcomes for enterprise customers. The role operates at the intersection of platform engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), and consulting, embedding within customer environments to rapidly deploy and operationalize the Intelligeni platform. The FDC works across infrastructure layers including network, cloud, and applications to identify high-value operational challenges, onboard enterprise data sources, and build meaningful operational context models that improve incident diagnosis, change safety, and risk visibility. The role drives faster time to value by defining initial use cases, success metrics such as MTTR reduction, alert optimization, automation uplift, and productivity gains, and ensuring early stabilization post go-live. A key part of the role is to unblock adoption challenges by collaborating closely with customer stakeholders, delivery teams, and product engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and sustained usage of the platform. The FDC also translates technical outcomes into clear business value narratives for leadership, including CXO-level reporting, impact storytelling, and measurable value realization. In addition, the role focuses on creating reusable deployment assets, playbooks, frameworks, and patterns that enable scalability and repeatability across multiple accounts, reducing dependency on individual effort. Continuous feedback to product and platform teams on gaps, enhancements, and field learnings is a critical responsibility, enabling continuous platform evolution. The role requires strong problem-solving ability, technical depth in observability, automation and integrations, and the capability to operate in ambiguous environments while driving structured, outcome-oriented execution.
