STEM Robotics Trainer & Instructor: Role Overview:
A innovation Instructor is responsible for conducting hands-on learning sessions in the SKILL Robotics, Design & Technology Lab, guiding students to ideate, design, prototype, and innovate using modern tools and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct practical DT lab sessions aligned with school curriculum (CBSE/NEP/STEAM).
- Teach concepts of design thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
- Train students on tools such as 3D printers, Robotics, Arduino, hand tools, electronics kits, and prototyping materials.
- Guide students in project-based learning (PBL) and interdisciplinary projects.
- Ensure lab safety, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Support school exhibitions, competitions, and innovation challenges.
- Mentor students to convert ideas into working models/prototypes.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate DT with subjects like science, math, and robotics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Background in Engineering / Design / Architecture / Electronics / Robotics / STEM.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking process (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test).
- Hands-on experience with DT lab tools & prototyping.
- Ability to engage and inspire students (Grades 3–10 or higher).
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in school labs / maker spaces / innovation labs.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, STEAM education, ATL labs.
- Passion for nurturing creativity and innovation in children.
