Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications as per doctor’s instructions.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide proper guidance to patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Maintain and manage pharmacy stock, including ordering, storage, and expiry tracking.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of medicines.
- Maintain patient records and billing related to pharmacy transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff for effective patient care.
- Handle controlled substances as per regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
