Responsibility :
- Maintain accurate documentation of transport activities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transport
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Coordinate with medical staff to schedule pick-ups and drop-offs
- Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and medical staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to operate and maintain different types of vehicles, including ambulances and patient transport vans
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and routes within the hospital and surrounding areas
- Ability to work irregular hours and be on-call for emergency patient transport
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients, family members, and hospital staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Physical ability to lift and move patients in and out of vehicles, and to assist with wheelchair loading and unloading
- Ability to keep accurate records of patient transport, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs and inspections
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
