Job Title: Die Parts Development Engineer
Job Location: Gujarat / Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon
Required Qualification: Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical Engineering
Required Experience: 3.9 – 9 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Development and inspection of die parts from suppliers, as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Study drawings, specifications, and manufacturing process requirements to ensure manufacturability.
- Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to finalize die part specifications.
- Release RFQs, estimate costs as per process and negotiate with suppliers
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for die parts manufacturing.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance ratings.
- Coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing plans, schedules, and capacity alignment.
- Track part development milestones and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Support supplier technical upgradation, capability development and localization initiatives.
Competencies/Skills:
- Basic knowledge in Press die, Injection molds, and Die casting dies manufacturing processes.
- Experience and Skills in cost estimation and negotiation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, inspection process and quality requirements.
- Skills in Design and drawing reading & Knowledge GD&T, Fits and Tolerances.
- Knowledge of die materials and heat treatment
- Knowledge in defects analysis and countermeasures
- Good analytical skills
- Very good problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of CNC milling and fitting activities.
- Basic knowledge of design software - UG NX.
- Effective verbal and written communication skill.
