An Accounts Manager is responsible for managing financial records, overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations, and supporting business decisions through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, expenses)
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, income tax) and statutory requirements
- Handle audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund management
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance
- Analyze financial data to support management decisions
- Ensure internal financial controls and risk management
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities
Required Skills
