Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical ,Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Engineering, or related field / any degree.
Job Summary
The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities for automation projects, including sourcing, vendor management, price negotiations, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role requires strong knowledge of industrial automation components and supply chain management to support project execution and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing
- Source and procure automation-related materials, components, and services as per project and production requirements.
- Generate and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and conduct comparative analysis.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for automation products and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and OEMs.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, and pricing.
Material Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Stores, Production, and Finance departments for procurement planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Track pending orders and expedite deliveries to meet project deadlines.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, quotations, and supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Verify invoices and coordinate with the Accounts Department for payment processing.
- Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required by management.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
