The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in managing recruitment, employee relations, HR policies, and administrative functions. The role ensures smooth HR operations and helps maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in the recruitment process including job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate with department heads for hiring requirements.
- Manage employee onboarding and documentation for new hires.
2. Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure all employee documentation is complete and properly filed.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain attendance records.
3. HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures.
- Assist in implementing HR policies in line with company guidelines and legal requirements.
- Support compliance with labor laws and regulations.
4. Employee Relations
- Address employee queries regarding HR policies, leave, and benefits.
- Help resolve workplace issues and maintain a positive work environment.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
5. Payroll & Attendance Support
- Coordinate with accounts/finance for payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, and overtime.
- Maintain accurate leave and attendance records.
6. Training & Development
- Assist in organizing employee training programs and development initiatives.
- Maintain training records and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
Skills Required
