ACCOUNTANT – PVC PIPE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

We are looking for an experienced Accountant having previous working experience in a PVC pipe/plastic manufacturing industry and sound knowledge of accounts, taxation, statutory compliance, inventory and manufacturing accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting, purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal and bank entries.
- Maintain complete books of accounts and perform Bank, Debtor, Creditor and Ledger Reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of GST, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, E-Invoice, E-Way Bill and GST compliance.
- Handle TDS deduction, payment, returns and reconciliation.
- Handle ESIC, EPF/PF, Professional Tax and other statutory compliances, including timely deposits and returns.
- Maintain payroll-related accounting and coordinate salary, deductions, PF/ESIC and employee statutory records.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting, including Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods, Scrap and Stock Accounting.
- Monitor PVC resin, calcium carbonate, additives, packing materials and other raw-material consumption.
- Reconcile production, raw-material consumption, wastage/scrap and finished-goods stock with production records.
- Assist in determining product-wise/manufacturing cost and cost per KG.
- Maintain Purchase and Sales Registers and verify supplier/customer invoices.
- Monitor outstanding debtors and creditors and prepare ageing reports.
- Coordinate vendor payments and customer collections.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports for Management.
- Assist in budgeting, expense control and variance analysis.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation records.
- Coordinate with CA, GST Consultant, Auditors, Banks and Government/statutory authorities.
- Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, GST audit/assessment and year-end finalisation.
- Ensure all statutory payments and returns are completed within due dates.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting controls for the manufacturing unit.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a PVC Pipe / Plastic / Polymer Manufacturing Company.
- Previous experience in a reputed PVC/UPVC/CPVC pipe manufacturing company will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing accounts, inventory, raw-material consumption, production and stock reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software and Advanced Excel is essential.
- Experience in monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet and account finalisation preferred.
- Candidate should be accurate, disciplined and capable of independently handling statutory compliance deadlines.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates having previous experience with PVC/UPVC/CPVC pipes, plastic extrusion, plastic products or similar manufacturing industries will be given preference.
We require a hands-on Accountant who can independently manage factory accounts, statutory compliances, inventory reconciliation and management MIS—not merely routine data entry.
